This year will be remembered by everyone, only not everyone will remember it the same. The year business was booming and we couldn’t keep up. The year we lost the majority of our clients because they were closed for business. The year I graduated from high school from my couch. The year I got to work from home and teach my kids all at once. The year I was considered an “essential worker” by the world.
No matter your perspective of the pandemic, it has changed the way companies are going to operate moving forward. AurStaff has decided to continue to work from home for now and has established new ways to communicate between teams, clients, and candidates to best meet each other’s needs. For others who have to remain on the front lines, providing proper PPE and placement at work has been a major focus. It’s necessary to have hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies available at all times. Continuing social distancing will be expected as a norm by many. As a country we are going to establish a “new normal” for our daily personal and working lives.
The pandemic has enabled us to connect with more qualified candidates. We have virtually met candidates who were furloughed or laid off that we normally would have struggled to find with their specific skill sets. On the other hand, we have spoken with candidates who want to stay home during this time and receive benefits. Methods for recruiting have changed and will continue to change but it will always be about relationships. As businesses have started to reopen, we have seen an increase in individuals wanting to get back out to work. We are ready to help them find you!
Our mission hasn’t changed. We continue to strive to be the staffing provider and employer of choice by helping people and companies achieves their goals, in a pandemic or not. How has COVID-19 affected your business? Have you considered restructuring your team? Connect with us on LinkedIn, Facebook, or give us a call at 402-895-4422!
